men – engendered ideas

I work as a New Testament lecturer at Alphacrucis University College and I’m a Honorary Research Fellow at Macquarie University. My dissertation was on 1 Timothy and was published by Mohr Siebeck (WUNT), Persuading Shipwrecked Men: The Rhetorical Strategies of 1 Timothy 1 (2020).

My research interests include women in the Roman Empire, the intellectual and cultural history of Roman Asia Minor, and Numismatics. I also have a BA (Macquarie University), Masters of Divinity (SMBC, Sydney) and a MA in Early Christian and Jewish Studies (Macquarie University). I attend a Baptist church in the northern suburbs of Sydney.
